Some 80 million people speak Punjabi in Pakistan, and 30 million more use the Indo-Aryan language in India. And according to recent census figures, it could soon become the fourth language spoken in Canada. For the moment, the top languages used in Canada are English, French, Chinese, German, Italian and, in sixth place, Punjabi.
