Clinical Research Software Internationalized

OpenClinica, an open source data capture software for clinical research, has integrated support for internationalization and localization.

Worldwide clinical trials will be facilitated by the new localization and internationalization support included in medical research software OpenClinica. The added features will allow OpenClinica users to run the software in many languages, as well as to adapt it to local cultures.

“The internationalization features in OpenClinica 2.2 will provide an easy-to-use general purpose infrastructure for running OpenClinica in any language,” said Tom Hickerson, OpenClinica’s Senior Project Coordinator, in a company press release. “You can have a single instance of OpenClinica display Russian text to one user while displaying Japanese to another,” he added.
