Localization Software Facing Changes

Localization software companies must think in new directions
Technology is always changing and adapting for the better, and it’s always a struggle to keep up, especially if you are a software localization company. Software localization is a process of translating software user interfaces from one language to another. For nearly 20 years, the translation industry has paid annual license fees for desktop-based software tools to manage translation memories.

However, the speed with which global applications, products and content of all types are developed today is placing tremendous pressure on the localization industry, forcing localization software companies to think in new directions. The old style, department-level approach to translation has become an important obstacle to deliver global products.

As competition among software developers continues to rise around the world, software companies are faced with increasing regulatory, cultural and compliance pressures.

Language Translation, Inc. is located in San Diego, California and has been in business for 17 years serving the U.S. and the many countries abroad with document translation services, conference interpreting and software/website localization services.  "We speak your language, and theirs."
